We provide workplace injury management services.
If you need to make a WorkCover claim, we can help. We will provide you with the necessary documentation and support you through the claims process. Your employer will need to lodge a worker's compensation claim with their insurer, and you will need to provide them with a copy of our Medical report.
Once your claim has been accepted, you will be covered for the cost of your Medical treatment and any necessary time off work. Minor injuries such as lacerations or burns can be dealt with at the time they occur, provided that our clinic is open.
If your injury is the result of a dirty wound such as an animal bite, you may be at risk of developing tetanus. If you have not had a tetanus booster in the last ten years, or if you are unsure, please get in touch to arrange one.
The return-to-work process will differ for each individual and depend on the type of injury sustained. However, it is important to seek Medical attention as soon as possible to ensure a timely and effective recovery.
Generally, to be eligible for worker's compensation benefits, you must have been injured at work or during the course of your employment. However, there may be some exceptions, so it is best to speak to your employer or a legal representative to find out for sure.
You should always consult your doctor before returning to work after sustaining an injury. If you feel that you are not yet ready to return to work, you may be able to request a modified duties program from your employer. This will allow you to gradually ease back into work while still receiving some level of compensation.
If you are having trouble getting worker's compensation benefits, you may want to speak to a legal representative who can help you to navigate the process and ensure that you are getting the benefits you are entitled to.
Once your treatment plan is underway, our team will work with you to create a return to work plan. This plan will take into account your injury, your current fitness levels and your ability to perform your usual duties. We will also liaise with your employer to ensure that your return to work is safe and manageable.
