Dr Arup Bhowmik has been practicing more than 5 years in field of Family Medicine (in General Practice set up), and accident & emergency medicine (in Hospital set up). He is highly enthusiastic, honest, devoted and diligent young doctor having a strong problem solving and decision-making skill at clinical and individual level. Throughout the period he had to work in a wide-range of set up with people from all walks of life; kids to olds, men to women, physical to psychological fields. He believes “a good GP never stops learning” and that’s why he loves to learn the best and serve the max. Along with his journey as a GP he also pursued Diploma of Child Health from Westmead Children Hospital and University of Sydney in 2016. He also pursued extensive training on Aboriginal Health from Remote Area Health Corps (RAHC) in 2014 and 2016. Moreover, He is pursuing training on Woman Health, Reproductive & Sexual Health from Family Planning NSW. He also has plenty of training on Mental Health from GP association of Geelong, COPMI, Think GP, RACGP and so on.
He has interest in many areas of Medicine such as:

- Travel medicine, Immunisation and Preventative Medicine.
- Long term care on Mental Health, Smoking, Alcohol and Weight issues.
Very sensibly serving as a general practitioner to the people-in-need gives me true sense of divine satisfaction and no doubt, multi-cultural Australian society is the best place to learn, serve and grow. He is more than happy to bulk bill and accepting new or old, indigenous or non indigenous patients.
