Lisa was born and bred in Glen Innes, married, had 2 sons and first began her career of caring for people as an Assistant in Nursing back in 1999, when she was working in an aged care facility.
Lisa and her family lived and worked on the family sheep farm until they decided to make a sea change in 2006 and moved to Sawtell. Right up until 2017, Lisa was working as a Community Support Worker in the disability and home care sector.
In 2015, she realised that she was finally in a position to be able to take that next step in her nursing career and completed a Diploma in Nursing (Enrolled Nurse). It was this course that lit the spark to continue on with her education to become a Registered Nurse. So, Lisa is now currently studying externally through the University of New England, Armidale and plan on completing her Bachelor of Nursing degree mid 2019.
This is a huge achievement doing something she loves and has a passion for.
Lisa has focused to ensure the patient receives the best possible health care and advice. Lisa is now able to make informed decisions regarding their treatment plans.
Lisa is a key member of our nursing team.
